VP of Programs

Company Description To Educate Adolescent Minds (T.E.A.M.) is a student-led 501(c)(3) organization based in Clovis, California, focused on expanding educational opportunities for youth who may have limited access to diverse learning resources. T.E.A.M. offers specialized branches such as STEM, Environmental, Finance/Business, Political Policies, and Journalism to help students explore their passions in depth. As a student-led organization, T.E.A.M. maintains close, direct relationships with its members, enabling responsive programs that reflect student interests and needs. While rooted in a small town, T.E.A.M. is building an all-in-one resource platform to support students across the globe. T.E.A.M. is also a PVSA-certified organization, recognizing and celebrating the contributions of its team members and volunteers.
Role Description The VP of Programs is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and evaluation of T.E.A.M.’s educational programs and branches. This role will lead program planning, set priorities and goals, and coordinate cross-branch initiatives that align with the organization’s mission and growth strategy. The VP of Programs will supervise program leads, support volunteers, manage timelines, and ensure high-quality, inclusive experiences for student participants. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring program performance, analyzing feedback and data, refining program models, and collaborating with leadership on strategic partnerships and expansion opportunities. The role will also participate in budget planning for programs, contribute to fundraising and grant applications, and represent T.E.A.M. in virtual meetings and community outreach.
Qualifications
Program Management and Project Management skills to design, coordinate, and oversee multiple youth-focused initiatives.
Strong Strategic Planning and Budgeting skills to align programs with organizational goals and manage resources effectively.
Analytical Skills to evaluate program outcomes, interpret data, and make evidence-based improvements.
Experience leading teams or volunteers, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and collaborate in a remote environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated commitment to youth education, equity, and inclusive program design.
Bachelor’s degree in education, nonprofit management, public administration, business, or related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
Experience in nonprofit or youth-led organizations, and familiarity with virtual collaboration tools and platforms.
