Role Description The VP of Leadership Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing and driving a comprehensive leadership development strategy across the organization. This role oversees the assessment of member and organizational leadership needs, and develops programs, workshops, and initiatives that build leadership capabilities and foster professional growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting needs analysis, partnering with internal stakeholders and external experts, and consulting on best practices for leadership development and succession planning. The VP will also lead the creation and delivery of training content, measure program effectiveness, and ensure alignment with Women Society Network’s mission and community-focused values. This role collaborates closely with the executive team to support long-term growth, member engagement, and inclusive leadership across the network.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Leadership Development, including designing and implementing scalable leadership programs.
Strong background in Needs Analysis and Consulting to identify leadership gaps and propose effective solutions.
Experience in Training design and facilitation, with the ability to deliver engaging workshops and learning experiences.
Knowledge of Succession Planning practices to support long-term leadership continuity and organizational growth.
Proven ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment and influence senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on inclusion and community-building.
Experience in membership-based organizations, nonprofits, or community networks is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications in leadership development or coaching are a plus.
