RBU Lead (India) - Cable Infrastructure

Role Description The RBU Lead (India) – Cable Infrastructure is a full-time, hybrid role based in Mumbai, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for leading the regional cable infrastructure business, including developing and executing market strategies, managing key customer relationships, and driving sales growth for Megger’s cable testing and diagnostics solutions. The RBU Lead will coordinate with global and regional teams to align product offerings, pricing, and go-to-market plans, while monitoring market trends and competitive activity. Day-to-day activities include guiding the regional sales and application teams, supporting complex customer projects, preparing forecasts and performance reports, and ensuring high standards of technical and commercial support. The role also involves representing Megger at industry events, promoting best practices in cable infrastructure testing, and contributing feedback to product management and development.
Qualifications
Strong background in cable infrastructure, power systems, or electrical engineering, with experience in testing, diagnostics, or asset management.
Proven experience in regional business leadership, sales management, or product line management within the electrical or utility sector.
Ability to develop and execute market strategies, manage key accounts, and build long-term customer relationships.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate across global and regional teams.
Analytical skills for forecasting, performance reporting, and interpreting market and competitive data to support decision-making.
Comfort with hybrid working arrangements, including regular presence in Mumbai and remote collaboration using digital tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related technical discipline; a postgraduate business qualification is an advantage.
Familiarity with utilities, infrastructure providers, and industrial customers in the Indian market; prior experience with test and measurement solutions is beneficial.
Commitment to safety, quality, and ethical business practices, with the ability to coach teams on best practices.
