Director of Project Management

Role Description The Director of Project Management is a full-time remote role responsible for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that support Netflix’s strategic and operational goals. This role oversees project and program planning, resource allocation, timelines, and risk management to ensure successful delivery of key initiatives. The Director will guide project managers and teams, establish and refine project management standards, and drive process improvements across the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders to define scope, managing budgets, monitoring performance against objectives, and reporting progress to senior leadership. The role also involves fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the project management function.
Qualifications
Strong Program Management and Project Management skills, including experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Proficiency in Budgeting and financial oversight for large projects and portfolios.
Demonstrated Team Leadership capabilities, including mentoring project managers and guiding cross-functional teams.
Experience in Process Improvement, with a track record of implementing scalable frameworks and best practices.
Relevant experience in entertainment, media, or technology environments is beneficial.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed setting and manage teams across time zones.
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus.
