Lighting Quotations

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Handle daily quote requests from distributors, specifiers, architects, engineers, etc.
Build accurate bill of materials by reviewing lighting plans, schedules, and specification sheets.
Coordinate with manufacturers to provide accurate pricing.
Coordinate with distributors, contractors, engineers, etc. to ensure accurate specification.
Maintain Oasis database of quotes and update status accordingly.
Gather information regarding product lead times and suggest suitable alternates when necessary.
Provide customer service after order processing such as estimated shipping dates, tracking, warranty paperwork, shipment claims, etc.
Takeoff lighting plans for quantities when required.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience quoting lighting & controls
Experience creating submittal packages.
Experience in Oasis quoting software.
Basic knowledge of LED lighting and controls.
Ability to identify equivalent products between multiple manufacturers.
Basic understanding lighting schedules,blueprints/mechanical/electrical drawings.
Self-starter and multi-tasker who can work alone as well as within a team.
Strong computer skills; MS Office, Email, Zoom, TeamViewer, etc.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
Excellent knowledge of lighting control and applications.
Experience preparing quotations in OASIC
