About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Performance Marketer (aka our next Performance Marketing OG)
Location · Indore (On-site - Hybrid)
Experience · 2–3 years
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys this
You're the kind of person who checks Ads Manager one last time before bed. You're not worried about anything. The campaign is picking up, and watching it climb is the best part of your day. If a good ROAS week lifts your mood, we'll get along.
What you'll own
Google Ads end to end: Search, Performance Max, YouTube
Meta Ads end to end: Advantage+, conversion, sales and lead-gen campaigns
Budget planning and daily pacing across multiple client accounts
Creative testing at volume: hooks, angles, formats and audiences
Tracking setup and updates: Google Ads Conversion Tracking, GA4, Meta Pixel, Conversions API, GTM, server side tracking, and offline conversion imports
Funnel feedback: telling the design and content teams what's breaking, not just that it broke
Monthly client reporting: "here's what happened, and here's what we do next"
What you need to walk in with
2–3 years of running paid campaigns yourself, not supervising someone else who ran them
Real command of both Google Ads and Meta Ads. Being strong on one and only familiar with the other won't work here
Numbers you can talk about: monthly spend managed, CAC, ROAS, CPL, and how you moved them
Comfort with tracking and attribution. If a conversion isn't firing, you can work out why
Speed with AI: you clear repetitive work fast and get useful insights from your AI tools, not just more output
A real appetite for execution. If you love strategy but want someone else to run it, this isn't your role. Here you do both
The ability to explain in plain language why a number went down and what happens next
The AI part, specifically
We mean real day-to-day use, not "I've used ChatGPT."
Clear the repetitive work: let AI take it so your time goes to thinking, and find in minutes the insights a manual pivot table would take an hour to surface
Think first, then scale: your first draft comes from your own head, then AI helps you produce and refine variants at volume, which you test properly
Full-funnel reporting: build and analyse reports from the first click through to revenue, not just platform-level metrics
Judgement about automation: know where Advantage+ and PMax help and where they quietly waste budget
Built a repeatable prompt workflow or a small automation that saves you hours every week? Lead with that when you apply.
Who this is not for
We're saying this upfront so nobody wastes a month.
This role is on-site in Indore. The culture is flexible, but you need to be in the city and in the office
Speed is in our DNA, and so is the standard. We notice small things. If "finished" and "finished properly" feel the same to you, this will be a hard place to work
There's no "yes sir, yes ma'am" here. You can disagree with anyone, out loud, and you're expected to. You also need to listen as well as you argue
If your last role was one platform, one account and a fixed monthly plan, the pace here will feel uncomfortable
After onboarding and a proper brief, you should be able to run on your own. If you need daily direction, it will frustrate you and us
How we operate
Built on Truth: no hidden agendas and no sugarcoating. You'll always know where you stand
Own It Like a Founder: nobody here gets chased. You see a gap, flag it and fix it
Speed Is The Priority: fast and sharp beats slow and perfect
We Win When You Win: we care about our clients' revenue, not just our deliverables
Never Ordinary: nothing leaves our hands looking mediocre
What you get
A direct line to the founder. Your ideas get tested this week, not next quarter
A flexible culture where we care about output and speed, not attendance
Nobody chases you, and nobody forgets you either. Your work gets a real review every month
Room to grow into leading the performance function as the team expands
How to apply
Email [marketing@marketog.io] with the subject line "Performance Marketing - Your Name". Attach your profile/portfolio and briefly answer these three questions:
What's the best campaign you've personally run? Tell us the platform, the monthly spend and the metric that moved
Tell us about one campaign that didn't work, and what you learned from it
What's one way you use AI in your daily work that most performance marketers don't?
We won't shortlist applications that skip these three answers. They're the fastest way we have to spot the good ones.
