Role Description The MEP Project Manager role at SV Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing MEP works across project life cycles, including design review, scheduling, and execution. Day-to-day tasks include managing project budgets, reviewing and preparing submittals, coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and local regulations. The MEP Project Manager will monitor progress, resolve site issues, support quality and safety standards, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders. The role also involves supervising MEP installation activities, verifying workmanship, and supporting testing and commissioning.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) skills, including practical knowledge of Plumbing systems.
Candidates should possess solid Project Management and Budgeting skills, with experience in planning, scheduling, and cost control.
Candidates should possess expertise in Submittals, including preparing, reviewing, and coordinating technical documentation and drawings.
Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience managing MEP activities on construction projects, preferably in commercial or residential buildings.
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in project management and design tools (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD or similar) and familiarity with local building codes and standards.
