Role Description This is a part-time remote Volunteer role supporting NJO Foundation Africa’s programs and initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting with online outreach, coordinating virtual events or workshops, supporting project documentation, and helping with research related to education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and sustainability. Volunteers may also contribute to creating content for social media or newsletters, organizing digital files, and communicating with team members and partners via email or online platforms. The role is flexible and may be tailored to the volunteer’s skills and interests, while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
Qualifications
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and spoken English, and collaborate effectively in a diverse, multicultural team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
Interest or background in nonprofit work, community development, education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, or sustainability.
Comfort using basic digital tools such as email, document sharing platforms, and virtual meeting software.
Demonstrated reliability, ethical conduct, and respect for different cultures and perspectives.
Prior volunteering or community service experience is beneficial but not required.
