Business Immigration Attorney – Counsel (Remote)

A leading US labour and employment law firm is seeking an experienced Business Immigration Attorney to join its Virtual Office as Counsel.
This is a fully remote opportunity for an attorney with 3+ years of business immigration experience who is looking for high-quality legal work, a flexible working environment and the opportunity to focus on client service without the pressure of generating their own business.
The Role
You will advise employers across a range of industries on US business immigration matters, working alongside experienced attorneys, paralegals and immigration professionals.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a broad range of business immigration matters for employer clients
Preparing and managing nonimmigrant visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1, E, TN and O classifications
Handling employment-based immigrant matters, including EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, PERM and I-140 petitions
Preparing responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and government inquiries
Advising employers on immigration compliance, including I-9 audits
Providing strategic immigration guidance directly to clients
Managing complex cases and competing deadlines
Working collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals and immigration professionals
Keeping up to date with changes in US immigration law and regulations
What We're Looking For
3+ years of business immigration experience
JD from an ABA-accredited law school
Active US bar membership in good standing
Strong experience with employment-based immigration matters
Experience with immigration compliance is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and case-management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Strong commitment to client service and high-quality legal work
