Vice President of Finance

Role Description The Vice President of Finance will be a key member of the leadership team, overseeing all financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities for Precept Investor Relations. This full-time remote role is responsible for managing financial reporting, analyzing financial results, and preparing accurate and timely financial statements for internal and external stakeholders. The VP of Finance will develop and maintain financial models, support strategic decision-making, and ensure strong controls around cash flow, expenses, and profitability. The role will collaborate closely with executive leadership to guide long-term financial strategy, optimize pricing and service profitability, and support capital planning. Additional responsibilities include improving financial processes, overseeing compliance with relevant regulations, and providing clear financial insights to support business growth in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance, including experience in corporate finance and strategic financial management.
Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, with the ability to build and maintain robust financial models and forecasts.
Hands-on experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including GAAP or relevant standards.
Advanced Analytical Skills, with a track record of turning data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Proven leadership experience in a senior finance role, preferably within professional services, consulting, or financial markets.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, managing priorities and collaborating across distributed teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA is preferred.
Familiarity with investor relations, capital markets, or microcap company environments is a plus.
High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.
