Vice President, Corporate Development

Position Summary
The Vice President, Corporate Development is responsible for identifying and executing strategic growth opportunities that support the Company’s long-term objectives. This position leads corporate development activities including mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, partnerships, joint ventures, market expansion, and other initiatives designed to strengthen the Company’s competitive position and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the Company’s corporate development strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
Identify and evaluate potential acquisitions, investments, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and other growth opportunities.
Conduct market research, industry analysis, competitive assessments, and target company evaluations.
Lead the evaluation and execution of mergers, acquisitions, investments, and strategic transactions.
Develop financial models, valuation analyses, business cases, and transaction recommendations.
Conduct preliminary due diligence and coordinate financial, legal, operational, commercial, and regulatory diligence processes.
Manage relationships with investment banks, financial advisors, legal counsel, investors, strategic partners, and other external stakeholders.
Lead transaction negotiations and coordinate deal structures, terms, and documentation with internal and external advisors.
Prepare investment proposals, transaction materials, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and the Board of Directors.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential acquisition targets, investment opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
Work closely with Finance, Legal, Operations, Product, Technology, Sales, and other departments throughout transaction processes.
Support post-transaction integration, including organizational, operational, financial, and strategic integration initiatives.
Evaluate new markets, products, technologies, and business models that may support long-term growth.
Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, valuations, and strategic opportunities.
Support corporate strategy, business planning, capital allocation, and long-term growth initiatives.
Establish processes and reporting standards for corporate development activities and transaction performance.
Represent the Company in discussions with potential partners, acquisition targets, investors, and other strategic stakeholders.
Manage and develop corporate development professionals and cross-functional project teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
12+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in a senior management or leadership position.
Proven experience evaluating and executing mergers, acquisitions, investments, partnerships, or strategic transactions.
Strong financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and transaction analysis skills.
Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, and strategic planning.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex business opportunities and develop actionable recommendations.
Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work effectively with senior executives, Board members, investors, advisors, and external partners.
Strong project management and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
Experience in technology, financial services, fintech, healthcare, SaaS, or other growth-oriented industries preferred.
MBA, CFA, or other relevant advanced degree or professional qualification preferred.
