Role Description
This is a remote, contract role (approx 3 months) for a Power Apps & Power Automate Developer.
The developer will design, build, and maintain Power Apps solutions and Power Automate workflows that support our customer’s business processes and digital transformation initiatives.
Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and refining requirements with stakeholders, configuring data connections, integrating with Microsoft 365 and other systems, and optimising existing apps and flows for performance and reliability.
The role also involves troubleshooting issues, ensuring security and compliance within the Microsoft ecosystem, documenting solutions, and collaborating closely with consultants and clients to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions within agreed timelines.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Microsoft Power Platform - specifically Power Apps and Power Automate, with experience designing, testing, and deploying production-ready solutions.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and related services, such as SharePoint, Teams, and Dataverse, and the ability to integrate Power Platform solutions with these tools.
Experience working with data sources and APIs (e.g., REST APIs, SQL databases, Azure services) to build secure, reliable integrations and automate cross-system workflows.
Capability in solution design and requirements analysis, including translating business needs into technical specifications and user-centric app designs.
Solid understanding of security, governance, and compliance within the Microsoft cloud ecosystem, including role-based access control and data protection best practices.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work remotely with clients and internal teams, manage priorities, and deliver to agreed deadlines.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure) and prior consulting or client-facing experience are highly beneficial.
Experience working with SMEs or growth-focused businesses and familiarity with agile delivery practices is an advantage.
