I. Position Overview
The Vice President of Global Digital Assets is responsible for the strategic planning, business development, institutional partnerships, and commercial ecosystem building of the company's global digital asset operations. This role drives the growth of digital asset-related investment, trading, asset management, and strategic partnership activities across global markets.
The position requires a deep understanding of the digital asset market—including cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, tokenized assets, blockchain infrastructure, digital asset trading, and institutional-grade services—and the ability to identify and pursue commercially valuable market opportunities that align with the company's overall investment strategy.
As a key leadership role within the global digital asset division, the incumbent will collaborate closely with the CEO, investment and trading teams, risk management, legal and compliance, and product and operations teams. Additionally, the role involves establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with financial institutions, asset management firms, trading platforms, funds, family offices, corporate clients, and other industry partners.

Expand the client base (institutional), strategic partnerships, and global business resources
Research global digital asset markets and industry development opportunities
Drive the implementation of projects related to digital asset investment, trading, and asset management
Build a global partnership network and commercial ecosystem for digital assets
Coordinate internal resources across investment, trading, compliance, risk, and operations to enhance execution efficiency
Identify new digital asset products, markets, and business opportunities for the company
II. Key Responsibilities
1. Global Digital Asset Business Strategy
Formulate development plans, annual targets, and key business priorities for the company's global digital asset operations.
Continuously monitor development trends in global digital asset markets, blockchain technology, and financial markets.
Analyze commercial opportunities, the competitive landscape, and institutional demand across different regional digital asset markets.
Define the direction for digital asset investment, trading, asset management, and business expansion in alignment with the company's overall strategy.
Participate in the design of digital asset products, business models, and commercial frameworks.
Provide management with market research, industry analysis, and strategic recommendations regarding digital assets.
2. Global Business Development
Lead market expansion and commercial partnership efforts for the global digital asset business.
Establish and maintain a network of global institutional clients and partners. Develop potential partnership resources, including asset management firms, investment funds, family offices, financial institutions, corporate clients, and high-net-worth individuals.
Identify commercially viable opportunities for investment, trading, and strategic partnerships within the digital asset sector.
Lead key business negotiations, design partnership proposals, and drive project execution.
Manage the end-to-end process of converting potential clients—from initial contact and needs analysis to proposal discussions and formal partnership.
Establish long-term, stable relationships with institutional clients.
3. Digital Asset Investment and Project Partnership
Participate in the screening, research, and commercial assessment of digital asset investment opportunities.
Evaluate the commercial value of crypto assets, blockchain projects, digital asset funds, and related financial products.
Collaborate with the investment team on project due diligence and the analysis of investment opportunities.
Identify opportunities for strategic investment, joint ventures, M&A, and ecosystem partnerships within the digital asset space.
Coordinate with investment, legal, compliance, risk management, and operations teams to ensure successful project implementation.
Monitor the business performance of invested or partnered projects.
4. Institutional Partnerships and Ecosystem Building
Establish partnerships with global digital asset trading platforms, custodians, financial institutions, and asset management firms.
Expand partnership opportunities with companies in sectors such as blockchain infrastructure, Web3, stablecoins, and tokenized assets.
Participate in industry conferences, investor events, institutional forums, and business gatherings.
Represent the company in high-level communications with key clients and strategic partners.
Build the company’s institutional partnership network within the global digital asset industry.
5. Product and Business Model Development
Participate in designing digital asset-related investment and financial products based on market demand.
Research business models related to digital asset funds, asset management, institutional trading, custody, and other relevant areas.
Analyze asset allocation and digital asset service requirements across different client segments.
Collaborate with product, investment, and trading teams to translate market needs into actionable business solutions.
Continuously optimize products and business models based on market feedback.
6. Risk and Compliance Collaboration
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to ensure digital asset operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal company policies.
Participate in establishing risk assessment mechanisms for digital asset clients, partners, and projects.
Monitor changes in digital asset regulatory policies across different jurisdictions. Identify potential operational, market, trading, and compliance risks during business expansion.
Drive a reasonable balance between business growth and risk control.
7. Team Management
Build a global digital asset business team in line with business development needs.
Guide business development, institutional partnership, and project teams to achieve business objectives.
Establish mechanisms for client acquisition, project management, and business tracking.
Cultivate business and management talent in the digital asset sector.
Collaborate with the company's senior management team to drive cross-departmental projects.
III. Qualifications
Over 20 years of work experience in finance, investment, asset management, digital assets, trading, banking, securities, or related industries.
Experience in digital assets, cryptocurrency, blockchain, or related financial businesses is preferred.
Experience in global market business development, institutional sales, strategic partnerships, or investment management.
Experience managing large institutional clients or strategic partners.
Experience managing multinational teams or global business operations is preferred.
