About The Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This pivotal role is responsible for supporting business performance reporting, financial planning, and operational analysis across multiple departments. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with finance, sales, and operations leaders to provide actionable insights into financial results, identify key trends, and support strategic decision-making processes. Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A minimum of three years of professional experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting is required. Candidates must demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modeling and preparing executive-level presentations. Exceptional analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Familiarity with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, Cognos, or Hyperion is considered a plus. Candidates must also be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and should be prepared to be part of our talent pool for future opportunities.
Responsibilities
The Senior Financial Analyst will develop and maintain recurring financial reports and dashboards to provide visibility into operational and financial performance. They will analyze business results, investigate variances against forecasts, budgets, and prior periods, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes is a key responsibility, including preparing financial analyses and performance summaries. The role involves evaluating revenue streams, expenses, customer data, and market trends to identify risks and opportunities for the business. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand operational drivers and their impact on financial outcomes. Creating financial models and business cases to assess profitability, investments, and strategic initiatives is also part of the role. Additionally, the candidate will utilize reporting and analytics tools to extract, validate, and interpret large data sets, conduct contract, pricing, and profitability reviews, and provide ad hoc analysis, presentations, and reports to leadership as needed.
