Lingerie Designer

Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Lingerie Designer. The intern will assist in conceptualizing and developing lingerie collections that align with the brand’s luxury and aesthetic standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include sketching designs, preparing technical drawings, selecting fabrics and trims, and collaborating with the team to refine fits, silhouettes, and details. The role also involves supporting sampling and production processes, maintaining design documentation, and staying informed about trends in intimate apparel and luxury fashion. The internship offers hands-on exposure to the design lifecycle in a high-end, emerging brand environment.
Qualifications
Ability to create fashion sketches and technical drawings for lingerie, with a strong sense of silhouette, fit, and detail.
Knowledge of textiles, trims, and materials suitable for intimate apparel, including comfort, durability, and luxury finishes.
Understanding of pattern-making, garment construction, and basic sizing principles for lingerie and intimate wear.
Awareness of current trends in lingerie and luxury fashion, with the ability to translate them into brand-appropriate designs.
Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator or similar software) and comfort working in a digital, remote environment.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple design tasks and deadlines.
Relevant coursework or training in fashion design or apparel design; prior experience or portfolio in lingerie or intimate apparel is an advantage.
Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and receive constructive feedback in a professional manner.
