Backup & Storage Engineer

Position Description
Experience: 3 5 years
Required: Block Storage (IBM/Infinidat), Comvault (or similar) Backup; Good To Have: NetApp (or any NAS product)
Location: Domlur, Bangalore
Technical / Behavioral
Strong administrative knowledge of storage subsystems and Block storage (IBM/ Infinidat) /File storage (NetApp) & Object Infrastructure is a must
Strong knowledge on Commvault Backup software (preferred) or any backup software is must
Good working knowledge on Fiber Channel SAN & iSCSI protocol
Knowledge of any NAS product (NetApp)
Knowledge of Hyper converged Environment
Administrative knowledge of one or more primary operating systems
Good verbal and written communication
Good influencing skills, including ability to negotiate and execute strategies with peers and colleagues / partners across organizational boundaries
Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimum supervision
Strong understanding of Infrastructure Technology at an Enterprise level
The Skills that are Good to Have for this role
Knowledge of any Unix flavor is added advantage
Good Knowledge of any programming Languages.
