Role Description
Accredited Phoenix area online college seeks course editor / instructional designer for a remote, part-time position. The candidate will have excellent content creation and design skills, including the ability to edit instructional content and create videos at a professional level.
The position is an opportunity to create awesome content, make a difference for students and instructors, and gain online / higher education experience in an innovative company.
Part-Time | Hours: 3 days/week
Responsibilities
• Course Production. Manage the production of online course content in collaboration with our faculty SMEs and under the direction of our Education Team.
• Authoring and Editing. Write, author, and edit excellent course content (text, graphics, videos) working to meet course learning objectives and the requirements of our templates and production standards.
• Graphics and Video Production. Provide primary support in creating engaging graphics and examples to meet defined objectives in coordination with other EDU team members and faculty.
• LMS / SIS Administration. Assist with the setup and administration of course content in the college's LMS and SIS.
• Student Community / Success. Assist the Education Team with support for student community and student success programs.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong video creation skills
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere
• Ability to work creatively and collaboratively to meet deadlines
• Background or interest in digital media and design fields such as graphic design, illustration, photography, or video/filmmaking
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS a plus
• Experience teaching or developing educational content at college level is preferred but not required.
