Role Description The Accountant role at Binary Semiconductors is a full-time hybrid position based in Mumbai, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. In this role, the accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The position includes preparing financial statements, assisting with monthly and annual closing, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, while coordinating with auditors and internal stakeholders. The role also involves creating accurate financial reports, supporting management with financial analysis, and helping implement improvements to accounting processes and systems.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in financial accounting, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and reconciliation of accounts.
Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, compliance requirements, and experience supporting audits.
Proficiency with accounting software and ERP tools, as well as intermediate skills in spreadsheets and financial reporting tools.
Analytical skills for interpreting financial data, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain financial information clearly.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in manufacturing, technology, or semiconductor-related industries, is beneficial.
