Role Description ; The Front Office Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Eranad, responsible for supporting daily front desk operations at Cortez School of Management.
This role includes greeting and directing students and visitors, answering phone calls, managing inquiries, and handling appointment scheduling for faculty and administrative staff. The Front Office Assistant will maintain records, perform routine clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation, and support basic administrative processes. The role also involves coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient communication, maintaining an organized reception area, and providing timely, professional responses to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills to interact professionally with students, staff, and visitors.
Candidates should possess effective Phone Etiquette to manage incoming and outgoing calls and provide clear information.
Candidates should possess Appointment Scheduling experience to coordinate meetings and time slots for faculty and administrative staff.
Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to handle documentation, filing, and basic data entry tasks.
Candidates should have good written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
Candidates should be comfortable using office software (email, word processing, spreadsheets) and basic telecommunication tools.
Candidates should demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy front office environment.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; prior experience in a front office or administrative role in an educational or service environment is preferred.
