What you’ll do
Design & develop responsive, accessible UI components for our AI chat platform using React (v18+), TypeScript, and modern CSS (Tailwind/Emotion).
Integrate real‑time AI services (LLM inference, embeddings, streaming) via WebSockets, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
Optimize performance for low‑latency interactions (target < 100 ms UI response).
Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to translate AI features into intuitive user experiences.
Implement automated testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) and CI/CD pipelines for front‑end delivery.
Maintain component libraries and design systems, ensuring consistency across web and mobile web apps.
Stay current with AI‑related front‑end trends (prompt engineering UI, model‑output visualization, safety controls).
Who you are
5+ years of professional front‑end engineering experience, with at least 2 years building AI‑centric products.
Expertise in React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and state‑management (Redux, Recoil, or Zustand).
Strong grasp of performance profiling (Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse) and optimization techniques.
Hands‑on experience with real‑time data streams (WebSockets, Server‑Sent Events) and GraphQL subscriptions.
Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI) and prompt‑engineering UI patterns.
UI/UX sensibility – ability to turn complex AI concepts into clean, user‑friendly interfaces.
Test‑driven mindset – comfortable writing unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests.
Collaborative communicator – works well in cross‑functional squads and remote settings.
Nice‑to‑have:
Experience with Next.js (SSR/SSG) or Remix.
Knowledge of WebGPU / Canvas for visualizing model outputs.
Background in accessibility (WCAG 2.2) and internationalization (i18n).
