Senior Sales Engineer – Control Valves

Petropipe is an authorised channel partner for Baker Hughes valve products across multiple countries in
Sub-Saharan Africa. We're looking for an experienced control valve sales professional to grow this business
across the region.
This is a remote role with extensive travel across Sub-Saharan Africa. There is no fixed office base; you will
work from your home country and travel to customer sites across the territory.

Full time | 5–10 years' field sales experience in control valves
What you'll do
- Win new control valve, actuator and instrumentation business across oil and gas, petrochemical, mining and
power
- Visit customer sites regularly to understand process needs and recommend the right solution
- Size and select control valves, and prepare technical and commercial proposals
- Present to customers, negotiate terms and convert quotes into orders
- Manage key accounts, support after-sales and keep the CRM up to date
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering
- Strong knowledge of control valves, actuators and positioners, and experience with sizing software
- A track record of meeting or beating sales targets
- Willingness to travel extensively across the territory
- The right to work in your country of residence
Strongly preferred
- An existing network of end users, EPCs or maintenance contractors in Sub-Saharan African oil and gas,
mining or power
- Experience with Masoneilan (Baker Hughes), Fisher, Flowserve, Valmet, KOSO or CCI
- Portuguese or French is an advantage
