Temporary Contractor – MS Power BI Developer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced MS Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, data modeling, DAX, SQL, and enterprise data integration.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Build and maintain Semantic Models in Microsoft Fabric.
Gather business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
Integrate and model data from CRM, ERP, Snowflake, and other enterprise data sources.
Develop and optimize Power Query, DAX, SQL, and PBIX solutions.
Manage Power BI workspaces, permissions, and role-level security.
Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Partner with business stakeholders to improve reporting, automation, and analytics.
Provide user support, training, and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field.
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI development.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, DAX, SQL, and PBIX.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric Semantic Models.
Experience integrating data from CRM, ERP, Snowflake, or similar enterprise platforms.
Strong data modeling, analytical, problem-solving, and visualization skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Power BI certification.
Experience with Salesforce reporting, Microsoft Excel, Python, or AI-enabled analytics tools.
Experience in business analysis, process improvement, or advanced analytics.
Consulting or contract experience is a plus.
