System Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a System Engineer. The System Engineer will design, implement, and maintain system architectures that support company operations and scale with business needs. Daily responsibilities include monitoring system performance, managing configurations, performing updates and patches, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and security. The role also involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, creating documentation for system processes, and recommending improvements to infrastructure and workflows. The System Engineer will collaborate closely with IT, product, and operations stakeholders to deliver stable, efficient, and secure systems.
Qualifications
Strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills to plan, build, and optimize technical architectures.
Proficiency in System Administration and Troubleshooting to manage servers, services, and resolve issues promptly.
Experience providing Technical Support and coordinating with users to address system-related requests.
Knowledge of networking, operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with automation tools, scripting languages, and monitoring solutions.
Ability to document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports clearly.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with security best practices, backups, and disaster recovery planning is beneficial.
