About The Role
The HR Manager at KARM Stores is a pivotal leadership role within the Team Services department, responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations. Reporting directly to the Director of Team Services, the HR Manager will support the organization’s mission by managing daily HR functions, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture. This role involves partnering with organizational leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that enhance employee engagement, streamline HR processes, and promote organizational effectiveness. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to staff and leadership, modeling Christ-centered servant leadership while upholding the organization’s core values of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.

Qualifications
35+ years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience
Working knowledge of employment law, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, HRIS systems, and HR best practices
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilities
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to interpret HR data
Ability to exercise sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across all organizational levels
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
Supervisory or leadership experience in a similar environment
HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring efficient and effective HR service delivery
Manage onboarding processes, employee records, HR systems, and personnel documentation
Ensure HR processes comply with legal requirements and organizational policies
Monitor HR workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements
Partner with leaders on recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and workforce planning
Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, including investigations, coaching, and conflict resolution
Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR documentation
Support organizational compliance with employment laws and safety regulations
Assist in developing and implementing HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals
Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend operational improvements
Support leadership development and ongoing training initiatives
Promote a culture of servant leadership, integrity, and accountability throughout HR practices
Benefits
Competitive salary range of $48,000 - $54,000 annually
Full-time, exempt employment status
Schedule Monday through Friday with occasional evening hours based on business needs
