Industrial Water/Wastewater Process Engineer | Remote, US-wide
Talisman Advisory Partners is partnering with a top-tier global engineering and consultancy firm to hire an experienced Industrial Water/Wastewater Process Engineer into a growing industrial water treatment group. This is an immediate hiring priority.
The role
You'll be the process engineer on industrial water and wastewater projects for clients across the US, with occasional international travel. You'll take projects from study phase through design, construction, start-up, commissioning and O&M support, working within multidisciplinary design teams and alongside a senior process engineer who provides technical mentoring.
What you'll work on
Treatment technologies including physical/chemical primary treatment, biological treatment, membranes, adsorption, filtration, disinfection, and thermal evaporation/crystallization
Construction documents including P&IDs, mechanical drawings, specifications, control narratives, technical reports and O&M manuals
Engineering calculations (Excel, Mathcad) and equipment and piping specifications
Field work including surveys, construction QA, inspections, and bench- and pilot-scale treatability testing
Commissioning, start-up and plant staff training
Client presentations, proposal support and business development
Mentoring and delegating to early-career engineers
What you'll bring
Bachelor's in Environmental, Chemical or Civil Engineering
7+ years of progressive experience in industrial water/wastewater, ideally in consulting
Preferred: Master's with a wastewater process focus and PE registration
Location
Remote across the USA. Travel up to 25%.
