About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Dabria Studios is a creator-led media studio that develops, produces, owns, and distributes original programming directly to audiences.
We’re building the core team around our 2027 Pilot Season: four original scripted properties launching throughout the year through DabriaStudios.com, beginning with The Lockdown House on February 26, 2027.
We’re looking for a Head of Growth to build and lead the audience-growth function behind that model.
This is not simply a social media role. Dabria Studios uses outside platforms for discovery while building a direct relationship with viewers through DabriaStudios.com. This role will own the audience journey from discovery to sign-up, viewing, return and cross-property engagement.
You’ll work closely with Dabria Studios’ Founder/CEO/Chief Creative Officer and the broader leadership team to build the audience strategy around our 2027 slate.
What you’ll own
Audience growth strategy across Dabria Studios and its original properties
Social media strategy and channel growth
DabriaStudios.com audience acquisition and conversion
Pilot Season signup growth
Email, CRM and direct-audience communication
Community development and engagement
Launch campaigns for each original property
Audience retention and cross-property viewing strategy
Studio Diaries and behind-the-scenes audience content strategy
Coordination with cast and creators to amplify releases
Organic growth, partnerships and selective paid acquisition
SEO and digital discovery
Audience segmentation and lifecycle strategy
Growth experiments and campaign testing
Audience analytics, reporting and insight generation
Tracking acquisition sources, conversion, viewing, return and retention behavior
Translating audience behavior into actionable recommendations for leadership
Building repeatable audience-growth systems Dabria can use across future properties
What we’re looking for
Professional experience growing audiences for media, entertainment, streaming, digital content, creator-led brands or adjacent consumer-media businesses
Demonstrated experience turning discovery and attention into an owned or direct audience relationship
Experience with social media strategy beyond simply scheduling and posting content
Experience with email/CRM, audience segmentation and retention
Experience using analytics to understand audience behavior and conversion
Experience developing or executing media, entertainment or content launch campaigns
Strong understanding of contemporary digital audience behavior, particularly Gen Z and zillennial audiences
Ability to build strategy while also working hands-on in an early-stage environment
Strong written communication and brand judgment
Comfortable working inside a founder-led creative company where systems are still being built
Experience with direct-to-consumer media, streaming, creator businesses, entertainment launches, first-party audience data or membership/community products is a major plus.
About the role
This is initially a contract role, with scope to expand as Dabria Studios grows.
Dabria Studios is currently completing its pre-seed financing. We are building the 2027 team now so key leadership is in place before Pilot Season ramps up.
Paid engagement will begin upon financing and contract finalisation. We won't expect any substantive unpaid work before then.
The role is remote. Dabria Studios operates across New York and Melbourne, so some cross-time-zone collaboration may be required.
Compensation
USD $50,000–$60,000 annualised equivalent, prorated to the agreed contract term and scope.
Compensation will depend on experience, availability and final engagement structure.
How to apply
Please include your résumé/CV and, where possible, examples of media, entertainment, creator or audience-growth work you have led.
We’re particularly interested in hearing about specific audiences, properties, or brands you helped grow; what you personally owned; and the measurable results.
