About The Job

Position: Gravitation, Cosmology and Astrophysics Physicist (PhD)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $80–$110/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 8 to 10 weeks
Commitment: 10 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Evaluate AI model training and improve model outputs in research-level physics challenges.
Develop complex physics problems and solutions in your subfield for AI model evaluation.
Review completed work and provide structured feedback to enhance training data quality.
Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure precision and rigor in model reasoning.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
PhD in gravitation, cosmology, astroparticle physics, or a closely related field.
Published work on specific phenomena such as torsion, Nieh-Yan, or Chern-Simons terms.
Verifiable publication record with arXiv IDs or DOIs.
Proficiency in LaTeX, Python, SymPy, and Jupyter.
English at B2 or above, including written reasoning.
Preferred
Familiarity with an agentic coding extension in VS Code.
