Position: Drug Discovery Scientist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $60–$90/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Design realistic research problems for AI models in drug research. Ensure they require genuine reasoning, not pattern matching.
Build a comprehensive data room using real, source-grounded data. Ensure every decisive value traces to a real source.
Write a grading document that scores submissions based on substance. Focus on reasoning quality, not style or method.
Validate and calibrate tasks before submission. Ensure accuracy and reliability.
Revise tasks based on reviewer feedback. Maintain authority on scientific and difficulty questions.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Expertise in mechanistic enzymology, structure-guided peptide or antibody design, fragment-based discovery, or structure-based medicinal chemistry.
PhD or equivalent industry track record.
Ability to pose defensible problems that strong solvers cannot shortcut.
Comfortable judging reasoning quality.
