Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing HR operations to support KalaRaj’s growing media and entertainment workforce. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives for creative, technical, and corporate roles. The role includes developing HR policies, maintaining employee records, handling performance management cycles, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company procedures. The HR Manager will design and implement learning and development programs, employee engagement activities, and compensation and benefits administration. This role collaborates closely with leadership and project teams to align HR practices with business goals, foster an inclusive workplace culture, and support workforce planning in a dynamic, project-based environment.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
Experience in HR policy development, compliance with labor laws, and maintaining accurate HR documentation and records.
Skills in designing and managing training, learning and development programs, and career progression initiatives.
Ability to plan and execute employee engagement activities, conflict resolution strategies, and culture-building initiatives.
Experience with HRIS or HR software tools, data-driven HR reporting, and basic analytics for workforce planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with creative, technical, and corporate teams.
Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Prior experience in the media, entertainment, or technology sectors is highly beneficial, along with familiarity with project-based and freelance workforce management.
