.Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Medical Writer. The Medical Writer will develop, write, and revise scientific and medical content related to neurological regeneration, including manuscripts, educational materials, reports, and digital content. Day-to-day tasks include conducting literature reviews, interpreting clinical and preclinical data, ensuring alignment with current guidelines and regulations, and translating complex concepts into clear, accurate, and audience-appropriate language. The role also involves collaborating with clinicians, researchers, and internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback, maintaining consistent terminology and style, and meeting agreed timelines and quality standards. The Medical Writer is expected to manage multiple projects concurrently, use reference management and document collaboration tools, and adhere to ethical and compliance requirements in medical communications
.Qualification

Ability to produce high-quality Scientific Writing and Medical Writing, with strong general Writing skills tailored to clinical and scientific audiences
.Experience in Medical Communications, including the development of educational materials, summaries of research findings, and communications for healthcare professionals
.Demonstrated Research skills, including literature search, critical appraisal of sources, and accurate synthesis of data from peer-reviewed journals and clinical studies
.Advanced degree in a life science, neuroscience, medicine, or related field (e.g., MS, PhD, PharmD, MD) preferred; relevant bachelor’s degree with strong experience also considered
.Familiarity with medical and scientific terminology, citation standards (e.g., AMA, Vancouver), and basic principles of study design and biostatistics
.Strong attention to detail, excellent written English, and the ability to follow style guides and formatting requirements
.Comfort working independently in a remote setting, managing deadlines, and communicating clearly with multidisciplinary teams
.Experience with neurological or neuroscience-related topics, regulatory or publication writing, and use of reference management and collaboration tools (e.g., EndNote, Zotero, Google Workspace, or similar) is beneficial
