Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Coimbatore, responsible for overseeing all financial and strategic planning activities for JC Global Refineries Pvt. Ltd. The CFO will manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of information to leadership and regulatory bodies. This role includes developing and executing financial strategies to support business growth, capital investments, and risk management, while maintaining strong internal controls and governance. The CFO will collaborate closely with executive leadership, operations, and commercial teams to evaluate business performance, optimize costs, and drive profitability. Day-to-day activities also include managing relationships with banks, auditors, and financial institutions, overseeing tax and statutory compliance, and leading the finance team to ensure efficient and ethical financial operations.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in strategic planning, business analysis, and performance monitoring to support organizational growth.
Experience in risk management, internal controls, and regulatory and statutory compliance, preferably in manufacturing or refining sectors.
Ability to lead and develop finance teams, with skills in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
Advanced knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, corporate finance, and treasury management.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with strong communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and MS Office tools for data analysis and reporting.
Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business (such as CA, CPA, CMA, MBA in Finance) is highly desirable.
Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably as CFO or equivalent in an industrial or manufacturing organization.
