I. Position Overview
The Executive Vice President of Investor Relations is responsible for formulating and leading the company's investor relations strategy and managing communications with institutional investors, analysts, shareholders, and other capital market participants. This role requires translating the company's business strategy, financial performance, and long-term development plans into clear, consistent messaging that complies with applicable regulations, thereby supporting the establishment of a transparent and continuous communication mechanism with the capital markets.
Working closely with the CEO, CFO, and the legal, finance, and business leadership teams, the incumbent oversees investor communications, earnings releases, investor meetings, capital market feedback, and the operations of the investor relations team. The role ensures that external communications are accurate, timely, and compliant with corporate governance and disclosure requirements.
II. Key Responsibilities
1. Investor Relations Strategy
Formulate and execute the company's overall investor relations strategy and annual work plan.
Plan key investor communication priorities based on business objectives, financial performance, and capital market conditions.
Establish long-term communication mechanisms with institutional investors, shareholders, analysts, and other market participants.
Report on investor relations progress and market feedback to the CEO, CFO, and relevant Board committees.
2. Capital Market Communication and Investor Engagement
Lead communication activities with institutional investors, equity analysts, and major shareholders.
Organize investor days, roadshows, earnings calls, shareholder meetings, and other capital market events.
Coordinate management participation in investor meetings and prepare relevant presentation materials and Q&A content.
Track and analyze investor concerns and provide feedback to the internal management team.
3. Financial Performance Communication
Collaborate with the finance team to coordinate the release of quarterly and annual financial results.
Participate in the preparation of earnings announcements, financial presentations, management scripts, and investor Q&A materials.
Ensure external financial information aligns with approved financial data and the company's public disclosures.
Translate financial results, operational trends, and business strategies into clear, accessible content for investors.
4. Information Disclosure and Compliance Coordination
Collaborate with legal, finance, and compliance teams to ensure investor relations activities adhere to applicable disclosure rules.
Establish processes for the review, approval, and version control of investor communication materials. Coordinate management's communication arrangements regarding major announcements, business developments, and market-sensitive information.
Support the company in maintaining accurate, timely, and consistent public information and investor relations materials.
Promptly escalate potential information disclosure risks and coordinate with relevant departments to address them.
5. Investor Insights and Market Feedback
Track key investor interests, analyst research views, and capital market dynamics.
Analyze shareholder structure, investor engagement, and market feedback on company information.
Identify key investor questions regarding corporate strategy, financial performance, risks, and growth prospects.
Provide senior management with regular, comprehensive analyses of investor sentiment and market feedback.
Assist management in understanding the gap between market expectations and the company's long-term strategy.
6. Corporate Narrative and Communication Materials
Orchestrate the company's investor communication narrative, ensuring consistency across strategic, financial, and business information.
Oversee updates to the investor relations website, presentations, fact sheets, and related communication content.
Coordinate with corporate communications and branding teams regarding corporate positioning and core messaging in public information.
Ensure investor materials are clear, accurate, and aligned with the company's approved communication messaging.
7. Senior Management and Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with the CEO, CFO, and other senior executives to develop key investor communication content.
Coordinate with finance, legal, compliance, corporate communications, and business units to ensure accurate disclosure information.
Prepare briefing materials, background information, and key issue analyses for management regarding investor meetings.
Oversee internal coordination efforts during communications regarding major financial or business events.
8. Team and Department Management
Lead the investor relations department; establish departmental goals, budgets, and operational plans.
Manage investor relations directors, managers, analysts, and related professionals.
Establish standard processes for investor communication, data analysis, event management, and report generation.
Develop team members' knowledge of capital markets, financial acumen, and executive-level communication skills.
Allocate departmental resources effectively based on the company's growth stage and capital market demands.
III. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Communications, or a related field. Typically requires over 20 years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, capital markets, financial analysis, or related fields.
Possesses over 8 years of experience in senior management, team leadership, or corporate-level investor communications.
Familiar with financial statements, corporate valuation, capital market operations, and investor communication processes.
Experienced in organizing earnings calls, investor meetings, roadshows, or other capital market events.
Demonstrates excellent skills in writing, public speaking, and communicating with senior management.
Capable of translating complex financial and business information into accurate, clear external communications.
Possesses strong judgment, a keen sense of confidentiality, and solid organizational, coordination, and project management skills.
