Role Description The Senior Executive Director is a full-time remote role responsible for providing strategic leadership across key business functions, with a focus on driving growth, operational excellence, and strong governance. This position oversees business planning, performance management, and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with Franklin Templeton’s global strategy and client priorities. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting strategic objectives, leading senior leaders and teams, reviewing financial and operational metrics, and guiding critical decision-making for new and existing business lines. The Senior Executive Director will collaborate closely with executive stakeholders, maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, and champion a culture of compliance, inclusion, and ethical conduct. The role also involves representing the organization in high-level meetings, leading change initiatives, and mentoring emerging leaders.
Qualifications
Extensive executive leadership experience in financial services or a related industry, with a proven track record of leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams and initiatives.
Strong strategic planning, business development, and organizational management capabilities, including experience overseeing budgets, performance metrics, and risk management frameworks.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and build trusted relationships across global and diverse teams.
Demonstrated ability to lead transformational change, improve processes, and implement scalable governance and operational structures.
Advanced understanding of investment management, capital markets, or asset management products and services is highly beneficial.
Commitment to inclusive leadership, ethical decision-making, and fostering a supportive and non-discriminatory work environment.
Relevant advanced degree (such as MBA, Finance, Economics, or related field) preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
