Role Description The Vice President of Finance and Operations at Abraj Hyper is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing financial strategy and operational performance across the business. This role manages financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, and oversees preparation and analysis of financial statements for executive decision-making. The Vice President will lead operational planning, streamline processes, optimize cost structures, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to support growth and profitability. Daily responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators, evaluating business risks and opportunities, guiding compliance with financial policies and regulations, and mentoring finance and operations teams. The role also collaborates closely with senior leadership to align financial and operational priorities with the company’s long-term strategic objectives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance, Financial Planning, and Financial Reporting to develop and execute sound financial strategies.
Candidates should possess experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to ensure accurate accounting, compliance, and transparent performance measurement.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills and Finance expertise to interpret data, assess risk, and support high-quality business decisions.
Candidates should possess leadership and people management abilities to guide finance and operations teams and drive continuous improvement.
Candidates should possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across remote and cross-functional teams.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field are preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) are an advantage.
Experience in multi-unit retail, hospitality, or large-scale operations, and familiarity with ERP and financial systems, is highly beneficial.
