Role Description The Electronics Service Center Technician will perform day-to-day diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of electronic and automotive entertainment systems, including audio equipment and related components. Responsibilities include inspecting devices, identifying faults, conducting troubleshooting, performing component-level repairs, and ensuring that all serviced equipment meets quality and safety standards. The role also involves interacting with customers to understand issues, explain findings, provide service updates, and support a positive customer experience. The technician will maintain accurate service records, manage tools and equipment, and follow company procedures and timelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kerala, India, requiring regular coordination with the service team and adherence to established workflows.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Maintenance & Repair skills, including routine servicing and component-level repair of electronic equipment.
Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills to diagnose technical issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate solutions.
Candidates should possess Field Service and Maintenance capabilities, including on-site inspections, installations, and follow-up service visits when required.
Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and ensure a professional, respectful interaction with clients.
Diploma or certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred; relevant hands-on experience in electronics servicing is highly valued.
Ability to read schematics, use diagnostic tools and test equipment, and follow safety standards in an electronics workshop environment.
Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in an on-site service center.
Basic computer literacy for maintaining service records and using inventory or ticketing systems; familiarity with automotive audio systems is an advantage.
