Sr Python Developer

Role Description This role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. In this role, the developer will design, implement, and maintain back-end services and APIs using Python, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, integrating databases and external services, and writing clean, well-structured, object-oriented code. The developer will review code, troubleshoot and optimize existing systems, and contribute to architectural decisions and best practices. The role also involves participating in agile ceremonies, documenting technical designs, and mentoring team members to uphold engineering standards.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development using Python and related frameworks.
Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, including design patterns and clean code practices.
Hands-on experience with Databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including schema design, optimization, and integration with back-end services.
Experience building scalable, secure, and performant distributed systems and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
Background in AI, data processing, or automation projects is an advantage, especially in high-growth, technology-driven environments.
Ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
