Mechanical Engineer (Fixture Design)

该职位来源于猎聘 薪资面议 灵活办公 About the Role: We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer focused on fixture design and manufacturing execution. You will own the development of assembly and test fixtures—from concept through to production ramp. This role bridges internal engineering, external vendors, and contract manufacturers (CMs) to ensure fixtures are delivered on time and perform to quality standards on the production floor. Key Responsibilities: Design 3D models and generate 2D manufacturing drawings for fixtures using CAD tools such as SolidWorks, NX, or Catia. Partner with fixture suppliers to drive fabrication progress, resolve technical issues, and conduct incoming quality control (IQC). Collaborate with CMs on-site to support fixture buy-off, perform outgoing quality control (OQC), and troubleshoot any integration or performance issues. Iterate on designs based on production feedback to improve fixture stability, durability, and first-pass yield. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2+ years of experience in fixture, jig, or tooling design within the consumer electronics industry (wearables, mobile devices, or similar high-volume products preferred). Proficiency in at least one major 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, or Catia); strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis. Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles. Excellent communication and coordination skills to manage vendors and internal cross-functional teams. Comfortable working in a factory environment and traveling to CM sites as needed.
