About the role
We're looking for bilingual and multilingual students who love language, culture, and storytelling to join our team as Content & Operations Interns. You'll work directly with our founding team and help shape the stories and content that families will read together.
What you'll do
Read and validate stories created by our story engine, making sure the language, storytelling, and cultural details feel natural and appropriate for families
Suggest edits and improvements to make stories more engaging and culturally accurate
Create social media content that introduces RootED to immigrant and bilingual families
Conduct market research on how families pass down language and culture, and what they look for in children's content
Help organize story reviews and research findings to keep projects on track
Who we're looking for
Speaks, reads, and writes at least one language other than English (all languages welcome)
Creative, detail-oriented, and curious about language, culture, and technology
Interested in writing, storytelling, or social media
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting
No prior internship experience is required.
