Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Granite Installer. The Granite Installer will coordinate with the fabrication team, review project plans, and travel to client sites to install granite countertops, vanities, and other stone surfaces. Day-to-day tasks include safely handling and transporting stone materials, performing precise measurements and adjustments, using appropriate tools for cutting and polishing as needed, and ensuring proper leveling, sealing, and finishing of installed surfaces. The role also involves communicating with clients on-site, maintaining a clean and safe work area, documenting work completed, and collaborating with project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards. Although administrative aspects such as scheduling, reporting, and communication may be managed remotely, the installer will perform hands-on work at customer locations.
Qualifications
Experience with granite and other stone installation, including measuring, fitting, leveling, and finishing surfaces.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in stone work (e.g., saws, polishers, grinders, drills) and safe material handling equipment.
Knowledge of construction practices, reading basic plans or drawings, and working effectively with contractors and other trades.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills on job sites, and commitment to high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working in a variety of site conditions.
Reliable transportation to job sites, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel within the service area.
Clear, professional communication skills and ability to interact respectfully with clients, team members, and supervisors.
Previous experience in stone installation, carpentry, or related construction fields; formal training or certifications in construction trades are a plus.
