Creative Writing Intern (Cultural Specialist)

Visionary Solutions is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing advocacy, counseling, and resource navigation for individuals with vision loss. We're seeking a talented and passionate creative writing intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment while contributing to meaningful projects.
What You'll Do
Write original content for blogs, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms
Collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative concepts and storytelling approaches
Edit and revise content based on feedback
Research topics to ensure accuracy and relevance
Assist with content planning and strategy
Provide advice and editing assistance to ensure culturally authentic dialogue for a novel set in France and North Africa
What We're Looking For
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in English, Creative Writing, Communications, or related field
Strong writing portfolio demonstrating creativity and versatility
Excellent grammar, spelling, and attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
Eagerness to learn and receive constructive feedback
Lives in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
Specialized knowledge and/or experience in French, Jewish, Berber, North African, or Arabic culture
