Role Description The Assistant Sales Manager – BOI Home Loans is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. The position is responsible for sourcing and acquiring home loan customers, building and managing relationships with individual clients, channel partners, and local stakeholders, and supporting achievement of branch and regional sales targets. Daily activities include meeting prospective customers, explaining home loan products and features, collecting and verifying documentation, coordinating with Bank of India teams for processing and approval, and ensuring prompt follow-up throughout the loan lifecycle. The role also involves tracking sales performance, preparing basic reports, participating in local marketing and promotional activities, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. The Assistant Sales Manager is expected to uphold BOI SERVE’s values of trust, customer-centricity, and integrity in all interactions.
Qualifications
Strong sales and business development skills in retail lending, with experience in sourcing and closing home loan or similar financial products.
Customer relationship management capabilities, including effective communication, negotiation, and the ability to provide clear product guidance and support.
Basic knowledge of banking and home loan processes, including documentation, credit appraisal fundamentals, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in using MS Office and standard digital tools for reporting, tracking leads, and maintaining customer records.
Ability to work on-site in Kochi, manage field visits, and collaborate with branch teams and external partners.
Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related discipline.
Prior experience in banking, NBFCs, housing finance, or other financial services sales is highly beneficial.
Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction and organizational goals.
