Role Description The Educational Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nashik. The counselor will meet with students and families to understand educational backgrounds, interests, and goals, and provide tailored guidance on academic pathways, institutions, and programs. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group counseling sessions, supporting career exploration, and helping students navigate admission processes and documentation. The role involves organizing informational workshops, maintaining accurate counseling records, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure up-to-date information on educational trends and opportunities. The counselor will also follow ethical counseling standards, provide ongoing support and follow-up, and contribute to outreach activities that promote the organization’s services.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Educational Consulting and Education, with the ability to guide learners on suitable academic pathways.
Strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to support academic, personal, and career decision-making.
Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear articulation, and the ability to work with diverse student populations.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Prior experience in academic advising, school counseling, or career guidance is highly beneficial.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage multiple cases, and use basic digital tools for record-keeping and communication.
Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a student-centered approach.
Fluency in English and local languages used in Nashik is an advantage.
