Marketing and Sales Associate — Part-Time

MYSHOWBIZ is an AI-native entertainment technology company, building a connected career and business intelligence platform for artists and entertainment professionals. We launch mid October.
We’re looking for a Marketing and Sales Associate who wants to help put MYSHOWBIZ in the hands of the people it was built for. This is a part-time, hands-on role at an early stage company. Initially, you’ll spend roughly 60% of your time on launch marketing and 40% on outreach and sales.
What you’ll do
Bring our launch to life across social media, email, partnerships and artist communities.
Create content support by our UI/UX designer that makes the value of MYSHOWBIZ clear and compelling.
Build relationships with artists, managers, agents, venues, presenters and producers.
Identify prospective organizational customers, start conversations and help arrange product demos.
Listen to early users and bring their feedback directly to the product team.
Track campaigns, conversations and follow-ups so we learn quickly and improve what works.
Your first 90 days
Help us bring our first 1,000 artists onto MYSHOWBIZ and sign our first 10 organizational customers. You’ll help shape the approach, test ideas in the market and see the results of your work firsthand.
Who you are
You’re an exceptional communicator who follows through. You are hard worker with something to prove. You enjoy meeting people, understand how trust is built and can turn an introduction into a lasting relationship. You’re comfortable taking initiative when priorities move quickly. You LOVE the startup environment. Experience in entertainment, creator businesses, marketing, community building or sales is hugely valuable. The Founder/CEO has 25 years of entertainment industry experience so your understanding of artists’ careers matters more than a particular job title. The opportunity
You’ll join MYSHOWBIZ at launch and work closely with the founder to help build our first broad community of artists and organizational customers. The position begins part-time, with the potential to become full-time as the company grows and if the fit is right.
Compensation: Base pay TBD and discussed during the interview process, plus commission on organizational customers you help sign.
