The founder brings deep domain expertise as a published Linux security researcher, former Assistant Professor in computer science, and registered cyber expert supporting law enforcement. Role Description The AI & Machine Learning Trainee will work full time in a remote setting, supporting the design, experimentation, and deployment of AI and ML solutions for automation, cybersecurity insights, and client-facing tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching ML and deep learning methods, implementing and testing models, analyzing datasets, and collaborating on workflow automation using tools such as custom AI agents and internal applications. The trainee will help write clean, documented code, contribute to model evaluation and performance tuning, and assist with integrating ML components into production systems. The role also involves learning from real client projects, participating in technical discussions, and producing concise technical notes or documentation that can be shared with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, Algorithms, and software engineering principles.
Knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts, including model training, evaluation, and deployment.
Understanding of Statistics and probability, with the ability to apply them to data analysis and model validation.
Familiarity with Python or similar languages, and common ML libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch).
Ability to learn independently, work remotely in a structured manner, and collaborate using online tools.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and team discussions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Interest in cybersecurity, workflow automation, and applied AI for real-world client problems is highly beneficial.
