Looking VRF and Chiller Products handling field service engineers who is more confident to handle technical support for chennai and Coimbatore region ( off role position)

Role Description This full-time hybrid role is based in Chennai, with field responsibilities across Chennai and Coimbatore and some flexibility for work from home tasks. The Field Service Engineer will provide technical support and service for VRF and chiller products, including installation supervision, commissioning, routine maintenance, and breakdown troubleshooting at customer sites. Responsibilities include diagnosing system issues, performing repairs and configuration, coordinating with internal technical teams and vendors, and ensuring timely resolution of service requests. The role also involves conducting site inspections, preparing service reports, supporting warranty and AMC activities, guiding contractors and technicians on best practices, and promoting safe working procedures. The engineer will maintain strong customer relationships, offer technical guidance to clients, and provide feedback to improve products and service processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong technical skills in HVAC systems, particularly VRF and chiller technologies, including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
Candidates should possess diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals to resolve complex field issues.
Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly, manage client expectations, and document service activities accurately.
Candidates should possess planning and organizational skills, such as managing service schedules, prioritizing calls across Chennai and Coimbatore, and coordinating with contractors and internal teams.
Candidates should possess digital literacy skills, including basic proficiency with MS Office, service reporting tools, and mobile applications used for field support and documentation.
ITI, Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or related engineering discipline is preferred.
Relevant experience in HVAC field service or technical support, ideally with VRF and chiller systems, is highly beneficial.
Willingness to travel frequently within Chennai and Coimbatore regions, and to work on-site in varying conditions while following safety and compliance standards.
