Role Description As an Azure Cloud Engineer at Ernst & Young Global Consulting Services in Bengaluru, you will design, build, and maintain Azure-based cloud infrastructure for client engagements. You will work on deploying and configuring cloud resources, optimizing performance, ensuring security and compliance, and supporting integration with existing on-premises and cloud systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues, implementing automation and monitoring, and contributing to solution architecture and documentation. You will also help improve deployment pipelines, support scalability and reliability, and provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
3+ years experience with Strong skills in Cloud Computing and Azure services, including designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions.
Experience with Infrastructure engineering, including networking, storage, security, and high-availability architectures.
Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting for automation and system management.
Knowledge of Databases, including design, performance tuning, backups, and cloud-managed database services.
Background in Software Development or scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, .NET) to support automation, CI/CD, and integration tasks.
Understanding of DevOps practices, infrastructure as code (e.g., ARM/Bicep, Terraform), and monitoring tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in diverse, cross-functional teams.
Relevant cloud certifications (such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Architect/DevOps Engineer) are an advantage.
