Role Description The Quality Assurance Quality Control professional will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining product quality across all stages of manufacturing at Steel Forge. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting raw materials and finished components, conducting in-process checks, documenting inspection results, and ensuring adherence to established quality standards and procedures. The role also involves identifying nonconformities, supporting root-cause analysis, recommending corrective and preventive actions, and participating in internal quality audits. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India, requiring close coordination with production, engineering, and management teams to drive continuous improvement in quality and compliance.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Quality Control activities, including inspection, testing, and documentation of materials and finished products.
Experience with Quality Assurance practices and Quality Management systems to maintain and improve overall production standards.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and the ability to apply these principles in a manufacturing environment.
Skills in Quality Auditing, including planning and conducting internal audits and supporting external audits.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and reports.
Familiarity with industry standards and basic metrology tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) used in mechanical manufacturing.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and clearly reporting quality findings.
Relevant technical education, such as a diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field; prior experience in heavy manufacturing or forging is an advantage.
