Role Description The Electrical Engineer will work full time on-site in the Pune Division, focusing on the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems for EV charging infrastructure projects. Daily responsibilities include preparing electrical designs and drawings, performing load calculations, reviewing power distribution layouts, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with project managers, civil and mechanical teams, and external vendors to support installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The Electrical Engineer will troubleshoot electrical issues, optimize power system performance, and contribute technical input to proposals, cost estimates, and technical documentation. This position requires regular site visits, detailed reporting, and proactive participation in project reviews and client meetings.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals.
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and related documentation for power and control systems.
Candidates should possess strong skills in Power Distribution, including panel schedules, cable sizing, and protection schemes.
Candidates should possess strong skills in Power Systems, including load flow, fault analysis, and system reliability.
Working knowledge of EV charging technologies, standards, and safety practices is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in relevant design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, electrical design software) and MS Office.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and codes, and to work effectively in cross-functional project teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and on-site execution.
