Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based at Medicon Clinics in Hyderabad. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessing patient conditions, administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs in accordance with clinical protocols. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, implementing care plans, educating patients and families on treatment and preventive care, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The role also involves adhering to infection control and safety standards, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and responding promptly to changes in patient status. The Registered Nurse will contribute to quality improvement initiatives, participate in clinical meetings, and help foster a respectful, team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
Valid nursing license/registration and completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
Experience in clinical or hospital settings, with strong skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and care planning.
Knowledge of infection control protocols, clinical safety standards, and basic emergency response practices.
Ability to maintain accurate medical records, use electronic health record systems, and follow regulatory and documentation requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and support patients and families.
Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and culturally sensitive care in a diverse patient population.
Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by clinic operations.
Prior experience in outpatient clinics, primary care, or specialty practices is an advantage; relevant certifications (e.g., BLS/ACLS) are preferred.
