Role Description The Heavy Trailer Driver role at Shri Krishna Road Lines is a full-time, on-site position based in Makrana. The driver will operate heavy trailer trucks, safely transport goods, follow assigned routes and schedules, and comply with traffic laws and company safety procedures. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitoring vehicle condition, securing loads, maintaining logs and transport documentation, and coordinating with dispatch for route updates. The driver will also interact with customers and site staff during loading and unloading, ensuring professional communication and timely delivery. The role requires dependable attendance, adherence to company policies, and readiness to work varied routes as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Truck Driving skills with proven experience operating heavy trailer trucks.
Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A (or equivalent heavy vehicle license) and knowledge of relevant transport regulations.
Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to coordinate with dispatch, supervisors, and loading/unloading personnel.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients and represent the company positively.
Candidates should possess familiarity with basic Truck maintenance checks, including inspections of brakes, tires, lights, and load security.
Additional beneficial qualifications include a clean driving record, knowledge of regional routes around Makrana, ability to work flexible hours, and understanding of safety and load-handling procedures.
